A Message from the President
On September 14, 1999, Presence launched an "Area Teams" initiative through an unprecedent live National Conference Call. Some 300 people across the U.S. and Canada were linked through 20 locations. Never before had the eschatology movement gathered like this in real time. I gave an address entitled "Our Call to Transmillennialism™," sharing where this movement of fulfilled bible prophecy has been and where it could be in five years if we pulled together at this point.
If you are like many of those who gathered for this teleconference, you may have attended one of our Annual Conferences or read about the Transmillennial® view from our website. Now you are looking for ways to give that biblical vision away to others. If that is you, I invite you to join our Area Team network.
An Area Team is a group of at least five people who agree to meet regularly to study and share the vision of fulfilled eschatology in their community. The heart of the Area Team is a bi-weekly home meeting, where associates gather to receive inspiration, training and empowerment.
Besides personal growth, Area Teams are encouraged to seek out ways to share their vision in an non-denominational way with the larger Christian community. That might take any form the group is led to pursue, whether hosting an Presence Seminar, co-teaching a Bible Prophecy class in your church, or being active as an anti-apocalyptic advocate with your community's newspaper or radio programs.
If you value like-minded fellowship, I encourage you to team up with a family member or close friend and gather a small group this month as one of our Area Teams. For your first meeting, you can tune into one of Presence.tv webcasts, and use a personal survey we created to spur on thinking about what should be your focus as a Transmillennial® Area Team.

We have also established a topic in our Message Board on Area Teams. There you can read news about what others are doing to share the vision of fulfilled bible prophecy and how they are forming Area Teams. I encourage you to join us there in this Internet forum as we develop the Associates program. As they say, none of us is as smart as all of us.
Area Teams should complement, rather than compete with local churches. Think of them as "Apocalyptics Anonymous™" support groups, which give people an alternative to End-Time addictions! And if ever society needed relief from millennial silliness, it is now, in the wake of the Left Behind series..
In May 2003, we released a "Spirit of Prophecy" multi-media study series that can be offered in a one-day or multi-week home-series format. Each session would cover a biblical truth of Covenant Eschatology, such as the Parousia, Judgement, Resurrection or Kingdom and apply that to some area of our lives.
