COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Provides a foundational understanding of transformation from the biblical tradition, applied to personal life change. Correlations to organizational and societal change are explored.

NOTE FROM TIM KING:

The purpose of this course is to introduce you to biblical transformation as a life-changing dynamic. This course explores the dynamics of human transformation by examining its roots in covenantal change in the Christian tradition and then by tracing it in personal, social, organizational change.

The course format is multifaceted, including audio-briefings, live web-cam lectures, group audio discussions, instant messaging, and message board posting.

 
COURSE TOPICS:

COVENANTAL TRANSFORMATION:
Explain how covenant eschatology sees the 1st century in transformative terms as a shift from an Old to New Covenantal World.

PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION:
Reflect on how the personal search for transformation comes from moving from first thoughts to second thoughts.

ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION:
Learn how to recreate or reimagine your family, church or workplace, moving from old to new mental models.

SOCIETAL TRANSFORMATION:
Learn how seeing the world as a map, rather than a photo is taking society beyond an industrial era. Consider how faith relates to this emerging world.
