"God did not come to bring us symbols--but to bring us into relationship with Him," claims Doug King. Taking his cue from the Transmillennial® 2004 theme, "Worlds in Transition," King reviews the purpose of Old Testament symbols, including the sabbath, temple, food, feast and circumsion, and then explores whether the symbols of the early church, including the Lord's supper or baptism were fulfilled at the New Covenant's consummation in A.D. 70.
In this fourth highlight message from Transmillennial® 2004, Doug King evalutes the passing symbols of the Old Testament and asks whether the symbols of the "interim" between the Cross and the fall of Jerusalem are still in effect today.
This webcast is the fourth in a summer series on highlights from the Transmillennial® 2004 national conference. The "Presence Today" webcast will resume come September with Tim King.
